About Us

Garold L. Timmons, O.D.

Dr. Timmons graduated from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee in 1967. While at Southern, he was a member of the Omega Delta Fraternity. Following graduation, Dr. Timmons had a year in private practice and served two years in The US Army Medical Service Corps as an Optometrist in Germany with the rank of Captain.

Dr. Timmons spent the next four years gaining his Master's Degree in Theology (Th.M.) majoring in OT Semitic Languages (Hebrew). The following eleven years were occupied with pasturing a church in Kansas and one in Texas.

Since 1986, Dr. Timmons has been involved in Optometric practice in Tyler, TX. A native Kansan, Dr. Timmons married the former Nan Hutson of Lubbock and has two children and two grandchildren.
